Chocolate Raspberry Recovery Smoothie

Enjoy this delicious recovery drink after hard efforts in the heat. It's important to recover smart and recover fast. Often after racing your body doesn't want solid food. This is great way to get smart calories right away! We did the Maah Daah Hey 100 50 miler in North Dakota and made sure to bring some crickets along!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh organic raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon of organic cacao powder
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 tablespoons Aketta cricket flour
  • 1 tablespoon of Stevia powder (adjust measurement to your preferred sweetness)
  • 12 roasted almonds
  • 1/2 banana (we like to freeze ours)

Directions

Peel and pit the avocado. In a blender or Vitamix combine all the ingredients. Pulse, slowly add coconut water until you reach preferred consistency. Top with raspberries and enjoy this satisfying recovery drink!
