What did you expect the Aketta crickets to taste like?
I had a slight hesitation to trying the Aketta product, but had no expectation of the taste, otherwise it would have ruined how it was suppose to taste.

What do you think the Aketta crickets would go well with?
Beer, salads, Ramen, fried tofu, eggs, and so much more to be created. Because my palette went to “nutty and meaty” I asked myself, where can meat be swapped out for crickets!
What was the biggest thing you had to overcome to try it?
The fact that it was an insect that could have been in my back yard and whether it was sanitary.
Did you find comfort in knowing these crickets were farmed in a controlled environment and regulated for human consumption?

Did you prefer the Aketta whole roasted crickets or the Aketta cricket flour?
I prefer the crunch of the roasted crickets, but can see it as a replacement for protein powder for smoothies.
How much do you personally taste with your eyes?
I would say maybe 30% of the time, but smell is 50% and taste would be the rest.
Do the favorable environmental sustainability aspects of crickets persuade you?
It helps in making me feel better that I am using a product that is environmentally sustainable, but ultimately the persuasion is whether it’s sustainable with my budget.
We know you love food, trying new things, what enticed you to try the Aketta crickets, and has there been anything you’ve hesitated to try?
The person next to me, great conversation can open many doors, even to the timid. Regarding the hesitation in applying my taste buds to unfamiliarity, my sense of adventure is always curious, but I am still a virgin to all that is out there.
